In the past few years, COVID-19 has created a challenging educational atmosphere for both young and old students. With a current labor shortage in the field of teaching and education professionals, Central CT Tutoring serves to assist filling the needs of students who have fallen behind. And, with an ever-growing Spanish speaking population in the United States, Central CT Tutoring seeks to empower and support students both young and old to learn Spanish as a second language in order to grow personal and professional communication skills.

What is Our History?

Central CT Tutoring was started by Kristen in 2022 after observing the success students can be with one-on-one support. Kristen has over two decades of experience working with students from Kindergarten to 75 years old. She has taught in the regular classroom, Resource Room, Inclusion, and Small Group settings. She understands the pedagogy of second language acquisition and bilingualism. Her strengths include identifying student needs and setting up goals with plans to achieve those goals.
